Family Business Alliance (FBA) believes that connecting with other family business-owning families is a key opportunity to succeed into the next generation. Because of this belief, FBA leaders created the Peer Group program.
What is a Peer Group?
A Peer Group is a group of eight to ten family business members dedicated to helping each other reach their professional and personal goals. Through mutual support and open interaction based on trust and confidentiality, each member of the Group learns how to become a better leader, a more successful businessperson, and a better spouse, parent, and friend.
The Peer Group is one of the most important benefits of membership in the FBA. The Group is a place where members can discuss issues in a supportive and confidential environment. Through Group involvement, members have the opportunity to learn from each other, share best practices, and apply what they learn to their own lives.
What group is for you?
The NextGen Peer Group is designed specifically for family members that are mid-management or looking to develop a future leadership role as owners, board members, and/or executives in the family business.
The KeyGroup is designed to be a support network and resource to key non-family executive-level members of family businesses.
The NowGen Peer Group is created to help Presidents and CEOs navigate the turbulent waters of family business leadership.
